To whom it may concern, I am writing in regard to the installation of Leaf Free Gutterguard at our home near Mt Gambier in South Australia. Firstly, the installation by your workman, Cliff, was on time, and he did a good job. Regina and I (David) are very happy with our Leaf Free Gutterguard. It has kept our gutters clean from all sorts of debri and has given us more time to do other things instead of having to clean out the gutters constantly. Also, no more injuries like cuts from the roof iron when cleaning &no more worries of falling off ladders. As we only got half of our house done initially, we are happy to now get the rest of the gutters done, as we are satisfied with the product and would like to have the benefits it brought to all our gutters.

With narrow box gutters and insufficient downpipes, we had a problem with clogging and water running into the eaves and down our internal walls. Since Leaf Free Gutter Guard was installed in late January 2011, it has worked exactly as described—through summer storms and autumn rains.

We worked with the salesperson to identify critical areas instead of covering the full perimeter. The partial solution (covering about half the roof and the carport) has been very effective. Leaves and debris fall on uncovered areas but are carried by rain to the edge of the sloped leaf guard, which seals completely. It now takes less than 5 minutes every two months to clear the gutters—compared to the awkward hour it used to take. This means it gets done.

The installation date was earlier than originally planned and the installer worked on a hot summer day to complete the installation. This explains why it took a little longer than estimated. However, it was explained to us that the gutter would be cleaned before the Leaf guard was fixed. We assumed this to mean hosed out when it was blown out with a leaf blower instead. Thankfully, the gutters were at that point relatively clean otherwise, we may have been faced with enclosed, dirty gutters ready to block the drainpipes again.

Despite the small miscommunication about cleaning the gutters beforehand, we have no hesitation in recommending Leaf guard as a solution for gutter protection. Everybody involved dealt with us professionally from the initial contact to the completion of the installation.
